Not professional advice

Nothing in the App is legal, engineering, inspection, or code-compliance advice. The App records what you enter; the judgment is yours.

Calculations

Blower door results (ACH50, CFM50 limits, pre and post addition allowances), duct leakage limits and pass or fail results, ANSI/RESNET/ACCA/ICC 310 duct leakage grades, and infiltration volumes including automatic joist space are computed from the values you enter and the code requirements set in the App (the default under Settings, or a project's own). Check the inputs, the selected compliance path, and that the limits entered match the edition of the code or program your jurisdiction requires. A result shown in the App is not a certification.

ENERGY STAR

RateCaddy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency or the ENERGY STAR program. ENERGY STAR is a registered trademark of the U.S. EPA. The App reproduces the EPA's own National Rater Field Checklist form and item text, a U.S. government work, for field reference, and fills the official form with your responses. You remain responsible for its completeness and accuracy and for any signatures the program requires.

RESNET and standards

RateCaddy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or accredited by RESNET, ICC, ACCA, ANSI, or any Home Certification Organization. ANSI/RESNET/ICC 301 and 380 and ANSI/RESNET/ACCA/ICC 310 are referenced by number only; the App does not reproduce their text. The energy code you enter under Code requirements is yours to verify against the edition and amendments adopted where you work.

Weather

Forecasts come from the National Weather Service (weather.gov) and town lookup from OpenStreetMap Nominatim, data (c) OpenStreetMap contributors. Both are provided without warranty of any kind, can be wrong or unavailable, and are shown for planning only.

Backups

A backup is only as good as where you keep it. Store backup ZIP files somewhere other than this device.
